Leeds United have been rather hard to criticise over the last 18 months or so.
Indeed, the Whites have got so much right both on and off the pitch, landing a spot in the playoffs last term, but if you were to say that one area of their team needs addressing it’s the lack of depth.
However, there is one position that has more than adequate options, and Leeds actually have a bit of a selection headache there.

Leeds’ left-backs
One area that Leeds have no depth issues is at left-back.
The Whites actually have four more than viable options in that spot with the likes of Barry Douglas, Ezgjan Alioski, Leif Davis and Stuart Dallas.
Of course, having so much quality in one position leaves Marcelo Bielsa having to perform a juggling act in order to keep everyone happy.
Juggling act
Each of the four aforementioned players have cases to make that they should be starting for the Whites.
Davis has been impressive in recent weeks, even drawing comparisons to Gareth Bale.
Douglas has proven quality at this level, registering 14 assists in a single campaign during his time at Wolves.
Meanwhile, Alioski has proven his worth over a number of seasons at the club and he’s a real threat going forward, netting twice already this term. As for Dallas, he is the ultimate utility man and he’ll do a solid job no matter where he is deployed – scoring in the playoffs last season.
It’s really hard to say what Bielsa should do with this conundrum as it’s hard to choose a standout player from that list of four.
The Argentine must balance how he uses each man in order to keep his team happy whilst also optimising performances on the pitch.
So far this term, Alioski has been preferred but it wouldn’t be a surprise if Davis is the eventual incumbent of the role in the years to come.
