Lionesses star Lauren James has won November's Women's Super League Player of the Month award.

Thanks to James' five goals in Chelsea's last two games against Liverpool and Leicester City, the Blues have maintained their unbeaten start of the season in all competitions. James has played in all of the club's fixtures so far having only not started two games this season.

The run has propelled the Blues to the top of the table in the WSL, three points ahead of second-placed Arsenal who have lost one game more than Chelsea.

James' hattrick against Liverpool in Chelsea's 5-1 win last month was her first in the Women's Super League and her first in the senior side. It was also the first time this season that a player had been involved in four goals in a single game.
